The National Prayer Network of Romania was created in September 2001 in response to the need for the body of Christ in Romania to unite in prayer.  We desire to see that every person in the nation has an opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ in order to see the Kingdom of God advance in this nation.  Believing that God has a divine destiny for Romania and that He desires to pour out His Spirit on this nation, we are asking that the churches of Romania unite in prayer and fasting.

Many churches and Christians in this land are fasting and praying for the nation and for God to move to bring change in Romania.   However, our efforts have not been united in a strategic way in the past.  In order to facilitate this we propose the following:

Each church will be assigned a specific day of the month to fast and pray for the nation.  We ask that the church keep the same day and pray each month for one year. 

We ask that the pastor have people in the congregation actually sign up to cover one hour of prayer on the church's assigned day and that the church cover the entire assigned 24 hour period in prayer and fasting.  More than one person can pray during the hour, but we ask that all 24 hours be covered.  We desire to create a prayer network that will cover Romania in prayer every hour of every day.  We have already completed two successful years of this strategic, round-the-clock prayer, which began in September 2001!

Churches that are too small to easily fulfill the 24 hour requirement will be partnered with another church so that all desiring to be part of this work will be able to do so.

The Prayer Network will send to participating pastors and intercessors each month several prayer points so that all participants are praying in a focused, strategic way.
